An Iconic pair of French Art Deco armchairs, club or lounge chairs in classic French oak by René Gabriel upholstered in a loose back and seat cushion with linen fabric. The chairs feature angled armrests and angled saber legs with stunning ladder-back form back rests which propel the chairs forward into a distinctive modern sensibility.
Gabriel was one of the premiere Modernist designers in France in the post war 1940 period and his work is much sought after because as it continues to be relevant today.
