Gustavo Pulitzer for Arflex, ‘Albenga’ armchair, suede and hand stitched leather, enameled steel. A streamlined design by Italian designer and architect Gustavo Pulitzer, which with its practicality and impressive sculptural presence, embodies the hallmarks of Pulitzer’s design style. The construction of the enameled black steel is based on a simple and open design featuring clear lines and shapes. Contrary to the overall linear layout are the rounded armrests that display an outward curve. Brown stitched leather is used to cover the armrests which results in an interesting color combination with the newly re-upholstered blue suede used for the seat and backrest.
