Charles Dudouyt Set of Six (6) Rush and Walnut Dining Chairs

$14,000.00

Vintage Walnut and rush seat dining chairs by Charles Dudouyt, France 1940s. Dudouyt crafted wooden furniture in strong Art Deco/ brutalist forms, using playful geometries and construction methods more in keeping with the robust Arts and Crafts Movement. These dining chairs feature simple lines and geometric accents throughout. The seats are made of durable woven rush with the patinated wood of the structure. The partnership of the two natural materials is also very effective; the wood and wicker pair flawlessly showcase the maker’s skill.
